Microsoft's anti-virus software plan
According to a Reuters's news stor, Microsoft is planning to start selling anti-virus software, to -
"protect personal computers running Windows against malicious software, the worms and viruses that have plagued users with data loss, shutdowns and disruptions in Web traffic in recent years" (quote from Reuters)
Erm, excuse me for a minute. Wouldn't it make a lot - maybe even a whole lot - more sense to work on improving the security in Windows, IE and Outlook rather than start selling an add-on to protect against the shortfalls???
I, personally, think so. Very, very much think so!
