Remembering Marvin
This is our beautiful Marvin, just a half year ago, presiding over my desk:
He's been ours for 17 years and a bit but now we don't have him anymore...
Just today, we came back from vacation and found him dead in his beloved garden - right outside the door with the flap.
He's now resting in the back garden, with a white rose - hastily bought - at his head.
Life is tough sometimes. But at least we have lots of fond and merry memories of him.

How sad for you all! Mind you, 17 is quite a fine age for a cat to reach.
Gorgeous pic of him.
Yeah, the memories will always be there, that's the good thing. *hug*
Oh, I am so sorry. What a beautiful old cat. My condolences.
I was very touched by the fact you buried him with a white rose.
At least he didn't suffer through a long illness. But what a shame.
A very dignified feline, looks like!
Was he called Marvin after the brain the size of a plannet one?
He was indeed :) His sister - due to the lack of suitably fekine names in hhgttg - is called Diva (from the opera movie)
I probably should add that the rose is planted and will be growing there in the years to come :)
*hug*
A cool cat he was!
